restaurant, situated in the heart of the Nouvion-en-Thiérache forest, in Aisne.The Auberge de la Forêt is an old forest lodge steeped in history. A traditional home which has become a 2 star hotel and restaurant, and Logis de France with two chimney rating. If you stay overnight or have a bite to eat at the Auberge de la Forêt you will discover Aisne, a region full of character and the authentically green countryside of Thiérache. The hotel, whose décor has kept the charm of the premises, has 9 rooms of which 7 are situated in an independent section opening onto a pasture close by, surrounded by the Nouvion-en-Thiérache forest. The restaurant presents a menu based on fresh products from the region, and Aisne and Thiérache specialities : Maroilles cheese, cider, red berries and game are available at our table, a cuisine full of the colours of regional traditions.
